Our Strategy Results

Below you will see a link to a Google sheet with the strategy results from our individual students. They were tasked to backtest our strategies in a wide range of market conditions.

These students are part of our premium school called The Trading Academy. They got more support and structured learning than what you can get in our free school, The Trading Cafe. However, the strategies taught are the same.

The average strategy has a win rate of 71% and the average return on capital was 72.3% per 100 trades uncompounded.

We're not saying that you will live off your trading income or make any money whatsoever. What we can say is in order to make serious money trading, the foundation is having a strategy that works and that can be trusted. One that is proven and stress tested under a wide variety of market conditions.

Not only are the statistically valid beyond a reasonable doubt, but every student that conducted these tests came from different backgrounds, jobs, genders, and ages.

You can go through and examine all 13,200 trades from these tests with screenshots, entries, exits, and notes recorded on each one.

Backtesting Session Recording

Inside of The Trading Cafe there are lots of live sessions. One of them is a "Practice The Strategy" session. This is where you can see how a strategy is backtested in real time.

This session covered The Sid Method. Make sure you open the Strategy Results from the students inside of the spreadsheet above.

Cafe Growth Session Recording

This is another example of a live session that happens inside of The Trading Cafe every week. One of our six figure traders goes live. They share their strategy, some trades they took, and look at future trading opportunities.

This particular session was by Simon Pullen. You can find the student results from his strategy under "The Reversal Method" in the spreadsheet above.

A little about us...

The founders of The Trading Cafe Limited are Zack van Niekerk and Peter Visser. They aren’t traders and nor are they experts in the financial markets. They are entrepreneurs and love solving complex problems.

One of the biggest problems they saw was that people didn’t know what to do to grow their wealth. Including them. Most online courses, YouTube videos, and articles were unstructured. They didn’t follow the research when it came to education.

Instead of relying on influencers and online gurus, Zack and Peter decided to invest in advertising. Their ads were seen over 5 million times - asking ordinary people if they could trade the financial markets.

52,000 people clicked on the ads and they collected 5,000 people’s contact information. They emailed every single one and spoke to at least 1,000 of these contacts.

Out of that they found the original three experts. Ordinary men who grew their savings accounts way beyond what the stock market could deliver. They were at-home traders who genuinely made money from the markets.

Zack and Peter made them an offer and built The Trading Cafe around their knowledge. Later, they found even more six figure traders and wrote a book called Six Figures From Scratch: The Astonishing Science Behind Four Ordinary Men & Their Journey To Becoming 6-Figure Traders.
